Shady Grove Classroom Computer Log-In Credentials

All iSchool faculty teaching courses at the Shady Grove campus will need to have Shady Grove LogIn credentials to use classroom technology or any other electronic devices on campus. The process of getting Shady Grove Log-In credentials is outlined below.

Getting your Shady Grove Log-In Credentials

Full-Time Faculty Members

If you are a full-time faculty member at the University of Maryland College Park and have an active UMD College Park ID card:

1. Visit the OIT desk (Building III-2nd floor)

2. Present your College Park ID card

3. The OIT office will attach a sticker with your Shady Grove ID number to your card (which you will use
   while using campus technologies) and provide further instructions on how to create your password.

New Members

1. If you are new to the University of Maryland and the Shady Grove campus:

2. Get your USG ID card:
   1a. Visit the Student Services office (Building III-1st floor; on your left-hand side as you enter the building)
   1b. Show your Driver’s License OR a State-issued ID
   1c. You will be taken inside to take a photo and to sign your card.
   1d. The card is printed within a few minutes after your photo and signature are taken.

3. Visit the OIT desk (Building III-2nd floor)

4. Present your Shady Grove ID card

5. The OIT office will provide further instructions on how to create your password.
