Conference Room Support Document: PTX 1116
Using the Windows Desktop :
1. Switch on TV via remote. Make sure TV input is set to HDMI 1
2. Power on the PC and login
3. Ensure that the PC is connected to the internet via ethernet cable
Connecting the Owl Camera:
1. There is a USB extension cable that runs from the PC to the conference table
2. Make sure that the Owl Camera is connected to the end of the extension cable
3. Ensure the camera is connected to the power source
4. The Owl camera will automatically power on when a video conferencing application is open
Zoom Conference Setup:
Click the Windows logo on the bottom left
2. Type “Zoom” and hit Enter
3. Allow the head of the meeting host to sign in
4. Once they sign in, they will start their meeting
5. Ensure that they click the option “Join on Computer Audio”
6. Test the video functionality by moving towards the video icon on the bottom left
7. Click the mini upper arrow and click Video Settings
8. Choose the “Meeting Owl Camera” option
9. Head to the “Audio” settings on the left panel
10. Choose these options according to the screenshot below
Speaker: Crestron 420 (AMD High Definition Audio Device)
Microphone: Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (TesiraFORTE)
11. Use the “Test” feature for each of the Speaker and Microphone options to ensure that the sound can be heard throughout the whole room, and that the ceiling microphones are detecting voices.
Note: Freely adjust the blue sliders under each of the audio options so the speakers are loud enough, and voices can be easily heard.
