Connecting to the Neat Bar
1. Connect Your Computer:
Locate the provided USB-C and HDMI cables on the desk.
Locate the corresponding ports on your computer and plug the cables in.
Ensure the cables are securely connected.
2. Select Video Outputs:
For Mac:
Configure Video Output: Ensure your computer is set to output video to the HDMI-connected display.
You can do this by selecting the screen mirroring option in the control center and selecting the Neat Bar.
Choose the appropriate display option (Mirror Built-in Retina Display or Use As Separate Display).
For Windows:
Configure Video Output: Ensure your computer is set to output video to the HDMI-connected display.
You can do this by pressing Windows + P and selecting the appropriate display option (Duplicate or Extend).
Verify Display: After successful connection, your desktop should be displayed on the screens connected to the Neat Bar.
If the screens are off, locate a remote control behind each screen..
Turn on the screens using the remote control by pressing the round, red power button.
3. Launch Your Conferencing Application:
Open your preferred video conferencing app (e.g., Zoom, Teams…).
Select the “Neat Camera” as your camera.
Select the “Neat Microphone” and “Neat Speakers” as your microphone and speaker.
4. Start Your Meeting:
Begin your call or presentation. The Neat Bar will work seamlessly with your computer.
Using the Neat Control Pad
Volume Control: Use the Neat Pad to adjust the volume of the speakers.
Microphone Control: Mute or unmute the microphones as needed.
Camera Framing: Adjust camera auto-framing settings for optimal video capture.
Group framing: focuses on the meeting room participants and groups them together.
Multi-focus framing: focuses on each participant in the room and places them side-by-side
No auto-framing: shows the entire frame captured by the camera.
Troubleshooting
No Video or Audio:
Check that all cables are securely connected
Ensure you have selected the correct devices (Neat Camera, Microphone, and Speakers) in your conferencing application.
Verify that the HDMI output is selected for both video and audio on your computer
