Installing Konica Minolta Copier on a Mac:



Step 1 : Download the correct driver for your Macintosh.

Step 2 : Unzip the file and navigate to the letter folder for your OS. Install the drivers on your Mac
(Run .pkg for both A4 and Letter and follow installation prompts)



Step 3 : Click install, enter the password for superuser and click install software





 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4 : Enter the computer password when prompted. 

Step 5 : Click System Preferences > Print & Scan





Step 6 : Click + to add new printer



 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 7 : Select “Internet Printing Protocol – IPP and type the IP address of the copier. For the copier in Room 4105 of Hornbake, you will instead select HP Jetdirect - Socket for the protocol.



Step 8 : Select Konica Driver using Use > Select Software…

 

Step 9 : Select “KONICA MINOLTA C258 PS” as printer software





Step 10 : Click Add

 

Step 11 : Select printer’s options (Paper Source Unit: PC-110 and Finisher: FS-534) and click OK
