Shady Grove Campus - Inclement Weather

The Shady Grove campus does not necessarily follow weather closings when the University of Maryland College Park is closed. If the main campus is closed, that does not mean that class will not be held at Shady Grove. You may sign up for weather alerts to find out if the campus is closed by going to this website, Alerts and Safety | The Universities at Shady Grove .

At the bottom on the right side, click on “USG Alerts” to sign up to receive notifications from Shady Grove about the weather, as well as any emergency situations. You are strongly encouraged to subscribe to this alert so you can find out timely information. If the campus is closed and your class is canceled, you are encouraged to send out a reminder to your students via Elms email to let them know that class will not be meeting.
